We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Civil Engineer

Location: Edo

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineerwith at least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry to join our team in Benin, Edo State.
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong background in general construction and piling and practical knowledge of AutoCAD software and Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibilities

  • Study the construction drawings and calculate the quantities.
  • Inspection at site to ensure the contractor has done the work as per approved construction drawings, maintain records of survey check, pile driving, concrete pour cards, bar bending schedules, shop drawings of structural steel etc.
  • Maintain records of actual quantities of concrete, reinforcement, structural steel, inserts pile templates, bolts etc.
  • Assessment and maintain variations.
  • Maintain all quality documents such as method statements, job safety analysis, quality records and all measurements related to concrete and structural steel, non- conformances tec.
  • Maintain measurements of civil and structural works on a day-to-day basis.
  • Calculate concrete inserts from approved drawings and track the deliveries so that the inserts are delivered to site in time.
  • Check contractors’ payment measurements for civil and structural work.
  • Cost and Material estimation of Projects/Works.
  • Prepare the drawings related to the project.
  • Prepare Power Point presentations.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, supervisor, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Communicate with higher authorities to keep them informed of work progress.
  • Day to day management, supervising and monitoring the site work of any subcontractor involved in the project.
  • Monitoring plan, organize the plant and site facilities to meet agreed deadlines of the project by subcontractor.
  • Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site.
  • Prepare daily work progress report as required.

Job Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a B.Eng. or higher in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years proven working experience in civil engineering/construction in the oil and gas industry
  • COREN certification will be an added advantage
  • Age: 30 – 45 years
  • Excellent knowledge of vast structural design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar, Orion, etc.
  • Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc.
  • Project management and supervision skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

2.) Accountant

  • We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive experience in accounting and taxation, with in-depth knowledge of Nigerian fiscal policies and regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with international accounting experience. This role demands strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage diverse financial operations within a growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage financial statements, reports, and forecasts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize ERP systems to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Age: 30-45 years.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Financial Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience, with a preference for candidates having foreign accounting experience.
  • Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian fiscal and tax policies, with a strong understanding of local regulations.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in the use of accounting software, ERP systems, and information technology tools such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Professional Certification: ICAN or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
  • Other Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

3.) Business Development Officer

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for active client relations coordination and business development activities, lead business development initiatives that align with the company’s business growth objectives, and drive business performance by delivering business development excellence through an understanding of customer needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the company’s growth objectives are attained, articulating new business development opportunities, and identifying, negotiating, and managing relationships with technical partners in line with corporate goals.
  • Lead the formulation, execution, and monitoring of the company’s business development, market penetration strategies, and plans for enhancing business growth.
  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive tactical business development plan to accomplish the organization’s business goal.
  • Penetrating new clients & and developing close professional relations with key decision-makers and influencers in the Nigerian upstream oil and gas sector.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or Chemistry is mandatory
  • A maximum of 5 years cognate experience in a similar position in the oil and gas sector with records of accomplishment.
  • Maximum of 35 years old
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Good working knowledge of the Nigerian oil and gas Industry.
  • An understanding of oilfield processes is required.
  • Proven client account management experience in Nigeria's oil and gas industry.
