When Davido paid the legendary Nigerian icon Bright Chimezie  $1 million just for sampling his classic song on "With You" featuring Omah Lay, he didn't just write a check—he wrote his legacy in gold.

But the story gets even more beautiful. Beyond this incredible sum, he allocated 40% of all royalties to Bright Chimezie and 50% to Omah Lay, keeping just 10% for himself on what has become the biggest hit from his "5IVE" album.
