NASSARAWA SOUTH, A SAFE HAVEN FOR BANDITS.
Just like former Governor Ortom always cried about, Nasarawa State, the neighbouring state to Benue State, has become a safe haven for criminal Foolanis.
These people sneak into Benue at night, carry out wicked attacks on border communities, and then run back to hide safely in Nasarawa without anyone stopping them.
Just imagine this! a group of Foolani bandits, three on one motorcycle, in large numbers, heading toward Benue on the Lafia–Awe Road. That same road has security checkpoints, even army checkpoints, yet nobody stopped or questioned them. Nothing!
That’s how untouchable these criminals have become. But Nasarawa people need to understand something. The evil you’re protecting and allowing to grow on your land will one day turn on you and destroy you.
Right now, Benue is the main target because the people there are known to be among the strongest and bravest in Nigeria. So the plan is to weaken them first. But if that works, those same people you’re shielding will easily take over your land too.
It’s very important that we document our history. Let it be written down so our children and generations to come can read and understand the past, and avoid repeating the same mistakes.
Let’s not forget what happened during the Ajayi Crisis (1999–2001). Foreigners—Buzaye— were brought in to chase the Tiv people out of Nasarawa, Plateau, and Taraba State. But what happened later? As a child then, living with my mum in Plateau, I clearly remember how those same foreigners turned against the very people who invited them, k!ll!ng them like chickens.
That’s the plain truth. I know Governor A.A. Sule of Nasarawa is a Foolani man. but may I use this opportunity, As an indigene of Nassarawa State, by birth, to advise Nassarawa people—traditional rulers politicians and the elites, especially Nassarawa South Senatorial district.
The Foolanis you’re harbouring, the ones sneaking into Benue to commit violence — by the time they gain full ground, they will chase you out of your own homes, I don't want you guys to believe me but just take note of this. It's already becoming clear to every eyes, at the moment. Go to Awe local and see how these people are wilding power. They do and undo. That's just the pinch of an iceberg.
Look at Hausaland today. The peaceful Hausa people welcomed the Foolanis over 200 years ago. What happened? The Foolanis turned on them, killed their rulers, and took over leadership. Today, almost all traditional rulers and political leaders in Hausaland are Foolanis.
That’s why Foolanis can k!ll freely in Hausaland and get away with it. No one questions them. No one condemns them, at most their bold Sheiks like Gumi will still demand the killers to be compensated.
It's so because it’s all part of a bigger plan, a project they want to spread across Nigeria. And sadly, we’re already seeing signs of it happening.
You can see how the Hausas has been impoverished earning the title of the most poorest tribe in Nigeria despite having the largest number and being the 2nd most spoken language in Africa and the 10th in the whole world.
Like the Hausa proverb says, “In gemun dan’uwan ka ta kama wuta, ka yafa naka ruwa." Which by ranslation: “If your brother’s beard catches fire, pour water on yours.”
Nassarawa people, It’s time you guys pour water on your own beard before the fire reaches you and consume your children and generations to come in the nearest future.
May God bless the Nasarawa State Indigenes, as they listen to this timely admonition. 🙏🙏🙏
