The Economic Fighters League warmly affirms the deepening relationship between the governments of Ghana and Burkina Faso—an unfolding Pan-African bond that signals a hopeful new chapter for our continent.
From Captain Ibrahim Traoré's honoured presence at the inauguration of Ghana’s President, to the President’s reciprocal visit to Ouagadougou, and most recently, the attendance of high-level Ghanaian diplomats at the Sankara Memorial Park—these are not just diplomatic gestures. They are powerful political statements of unity, mutual respect, and a shared future.
This renewed spirit of cooperation stands in sharp contrast to the cold stance taken by the past administration toward the revolutionary leadership of Captain Traoré and the people of Burkina Faso. Today, Ghana takes the side of African dignity.
As we approach African Liberation Day 2025, the Economic Fighters League calls on all of us to build on this momentum. Let us go beyond official diplomacy and call for cultural, educational, and youth exchange programmes that prepare our citizens for the united, sovereign, Pan-African future we deserve.
This is the spirit driving our mobilisation in the historic Solidarity Walk—#WalkWithTraoré—on May 25, 2025.
This is a multi-partisan, inclusive call to action. No matter your political affiliation, religion, gender, or background—if you believe in African unity, sovereignty, and justice, this walk is for you.
Let’s walk together, for ourselves and for the Africa yet to be born.
