Nigerian Troops Arrest Terror Collaborator and Logistics Supplier in Borno
In a strategic breakthrough in the fight against terrorism in the Northeast, troops of Sector 3 under the Multi-National Joint Task Force (MNJTF) and Operation Hadin Kai have arrested a suspected terror collaborator and logistics supplier in Baga town, Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State.
According to frontline security expert Zagazola Makama, the arrest was conducted during an intelligence-led operation on May 5, spearheaded by the Sector 3 Military Intelligence Battalion (MIB) in coordination with hybrid forces.
Items recovered from the suspect during the operation include a mobile phone, a cash sum of ₦335,000, and other undisclosed materials believed to be linked to insurgent activities.
The suspect is currently in military custody and undergoing detailed investigation. Authorities say this arrest underscores the effectiveness of ongoing intelligence operations in disrupting terror supply chains in the region.
Security forces are urging the public to remain vigilant and continue sharing actionable intelligence that will help dismantle the remaining networks supporting terrorist groups across the Northeast.
