Job Title: Senior Finance Officer

Qualifications
The right candidate must have the following experiences and qualifications:

• Experience in NGO Sector: Candidates must have 4 - 6 years substantial experience working within NGOs. This includes familiarity with donor funding mechanisms, grant management processes, compliance with international accounting standards specific to non-profits (such as IFRS for SMEs), and understanding the unique challenges faced by NGOs in financial management.
• Educational Background: A minimum of Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees such as an MBA or a master’s in finance can be advantageous.
• Professional Certifications: Candidates should ideally hold relevant certifications such as ACA, CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), or ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). These certifications demonstrate a high level of expertise and commitment to the profession.
