These are sad times for the family of internationally celebrated Nigerian author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie as she recently lost her father, James Nwoye Adichie at age 88.
According to reports, Nwoye Adichie passed away on Wednesday June 10,
2020 after a brief illness, at Chira Memorial Hospital, Awkuzu, Anambra
state.
He was an Emeritus Professor of Statistics and Mathematics at the
University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). He was married to Chimamanda’s mom,
Grace Ifeoma, who was the university’s first female registrar
