Death is a certain thing everybody will go through but this knowledge
does not make the passing of an icon or a loved one any less painful.
Many people live all their lives as if they are not alive while
others make good use of their time on earth and create works that would
outlive them and impact generations to come.
That appears to be the case of Nigerian writer and educator, Phebean
Ajibola Ogundipe who passed on at the age of 92 on March 27, 2020. She
died in North Carolina, United States of America. Ogundipe was born in
Esa-Oke in Osun state. She would have clocked 93 on May 2.
The late 92-year-old writer was the author of popular English text books such as Practical English and Brighter Grammar.
